Special Shout out to Dillon Hadfield for his hard work on our new fencing!!
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of someone very special to our Central Aroostook Humane Society Family. Christine Standefer joined our board of directors as a volunteer and later as our Vice President. Chris had a passion for all animals and a great concern for animal welfare. Chris was one of our best fundraisers, baking hundreds of dog bones, packaging them, and contributing to so many of our fundraisers. May this special lady, rest in peace.

VOLUNTEER
Hello fellow animal lovers!! We encourage volunteers to help with cage cleaning, walk dogs, socialize cats, help with dishes and laundry, mow lawns and various other activies. So if you go to the shelter or fill out an application we will gladly except any help!
A member of our board or staff will review your application and get in touch with you!
